Paul joined NEQOS from Public Health England and has worked in analytical roles across the public sector beginning in the Prison Service in 2005. In PHE he worked on Child and Maternal Health publications including the annual Child Health Profiles and the interactive Fingertips profiles, as well as providing local analysis and training as part of the Local Knowledge and Intelligence Service in the North East.
Paul is an experienced user of Hospital Episode Statistics (HES), Office for National Statistics (ONS) births and deaths data and other specialised datasets, and is developing skills in coding using SQL and R.
