NEQOS has a new Director! We are pleased to announce that Tony Roberts recently started in post following the retirement of our former Director, Paula Whitty. Tony has been with us since 2010, and previously held the position of Deputy Director.
Tony has a research background and a Masters in Philosophy of Mind and Health Services Research. He has worked in the NHS in acute hospital, primary care and health authority roles, always with a focus on measurement of quality and safety of care.
Alongside his new position, Tony continues in his roles as Deputy Director (Clinical Effectiveness) at South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust and Patient Safety Lead in the Academic Health Science Network in the North East and North Cumbria.
We would like to wish Tony good luck is his new role and congratulate Paula on her well-deserved retirement!
